Jo Clifton, who joined the In Fact staff in November of 1998 when the publication was still a weekly. She became editor and publisher in mid-2000. Over the past 30 years, she has worked as a reporter, lawyer and judge. She has worked for the El Paso Times, the Austin American-Statesman and the Texas Observer, among others. Mark Richardson is a veteran journalist with 25 years of experience in both print and broadcast media. He has worked as a reporter and editor for newspapers in Austin, Temple, Corpus Christi and Las Vegas, as well as the Associated Press. He has also served as a reporter, anchor and assignments editor in radio and television newsrooms in Austin, Temple, and Houston. Mark covers City Council, various boards and commissions and environmental issues, and serves as copy editor. He is a journalism graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Kimberly Reeves began her career in journalism in Houston with the story of Thirteen Coins, a topless club that opened a stone's throw away from Spring Woods High School. The community outrage led to the state's sexually oriented business ordinance. Little did Kimberly know, 20 years later, she would still be covering zoning—as well as numerous other issues—for In Fact Daily. After a brief stint as a high school journalism teacher in South Texas, Kimberly has written for newspapers and magazines in Austin, Houston and Dallas, primarily on business, real estate, technology and education. Jacob Cottingham is a graduate of Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York and was the founding Executive Editor and Publisher of Savannah SNITCH in Savannah, Georgia. He also served as the founding Managing Editor of The South magazine, where his editorial direction guided the magazine to 12 awards, including an individual recognition for Best Series from the Magazine Association of the Southeast. Heading westward, Cottingham traveled the country in a vintage Airstream for 10 months before deciding that Austin was the perfect place for him to live. Laurel Chesky has covered community news since 1997. She began her reporting career at the local alternative weekly newspaper in Monterey County, Calif., where she covered numerous struggles between local environmentalists and land developers, water issues, immigration, agriculture and education, among other things. In 2001, Chesky migrated to the north end of the Monterey Bay and served as news editor for an alternative weekly in Santa Cruz, Calif. Returning to her Texas roots, she moved to Austin in 2004, where she freelances for the Austin Chronicle and In Fact Daily. She holds a degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University. John Davidson has worked as a reporter and editor for numerous publications throughout the country, writing about everything from rampant wild boars in northeastern Pennsylvania to clandestine meth labs in southcentral Alaska. Before moving to Austin in August 2009, he worked as a freelance reporter and videographer in Philadelphia, covering urban design, planning and development, and local government. Davidson also works as an executive editor for Issue Media Group, a Detroit-based company that publishes regional and city-specific online magazines about new economy issues and emerging industries. Mike Kanin is a freelance writer and editor who lives and works in Austin. His work has appeared in the Washington City Paper, the Washington Post's Express, the Boston Herald, Boston's Weekly Dig, the Austin Chronicle, and the Texas Observer. He's also served as the Washington City Paper's City Lights Editor and as the co-founding editor of Unfit Times.

Journalist Ken Martin founded In Fact in 1995 as a weekly. Four years later, Martin decided to expand the publication to five days a week. Ken continues his editorial work as editor of The Good Life Magazine.
